Description
A contemporary interpretation of the traditional Gamchha textile of West Bengal, this handloom cotton saree combines earthy olive, khaki, beige, and muted grey tones with striking blue accents. The body features fine horizontal stripes, creating a subtle rhythm and texture across the saree.
The contrasting blue border is highlighted with fine checks and delicate lines, while the pallu brings together blue, grey, beige, brown, and muted purple tones in a varied checked and striped composition. A narrow magenta accent adds a distinctive touch along the edge.
Lightweight and breathable, the saree reflects the simplicity of traditional Gamchha weaving while bringing together a contemporary colour palette. The handcrafted tassels at the pallu add a natural finishing detail.
