Description
Rooted in the visual language of the traditional Gamchha of West Bengal, this handloom cotton saree brings together earthy colours and relaxed stripes in a contemporary composition. Shades of rust, terracotta, olive green, teal, muted blue, and mauve come together across the body, creating a layered play of colour and texture.
The saree features broad horizontal stripes with subtle checks and fine linear details woven into different sections. Its pallu brings together deeper teal and blue tones with larger checks and fine stripes, finished with handmade tassels that add movement to the drape.
Lightweight and breathable, this saree reflects the practical character of Gamchha while transforming its familiar checks and stripes into a distinctive contemporary design.
Crafted by hand.
