Description
The Illustration combines the seven states of ARUNACHAL PRADESH, ASSAM MANIPUR, MEGHALAYA, MIZORAM, NAGALAND and TRIPURA. Each state is depicted through the textures of cloth and bamboo and shares the cultural traditions of north-east India. The artist Sitt Nyein Aye has used actual woven pieces to create this map.
